Vice President and President in charge, Lenin Moreno, made an appeal to all the presidential candidates for the elections of February 17, to avoid the grievances  and violence in the last week of the election campaign.

Moreno is characterized by his moderation and prudence, took the opportunity his last broadcast as replacement of  Rafael Correa, to ask that “insults and aggressions should be absent from the election campaign and that violence does not tarnish the democratic party the country is living “, while regretting the incidents happened in the previous week in Quinindé, Esmeraldas, where two people died from stab wounds inflicted by an individual, now imprisoned, who was  clearly under the influence of alcohol and psychotropic substances.

The broadcast was carried out from the Yasuni National Park, which served to Ivonne Baki, secretary of the Yasuní, to report on the campaign that Ecuador  develops  worldwide to raise funds that compensates the decision to leave the oil underground, but she did not revealed the money already collected.
