The president of “3D Systems”, Abe Reichental, showed his new 3D printer, a product that surely will revolutionize the whole market. In spite of the fact that to print objects in 3D has been a reality for many years, nowadays this technology costs $1,300 which is a much more accessible value to take them home.
This technology is a sign of progress, affirmed Reichental, while he was doing a presentation in “CNN Saturday” where he printed a (completely functional) shoe and the anchor’s face in only 1 hour.
The printer works with geometries in the shape of network therefore no waste exists. It is easy to use, the printer does not have many steps and in general it is a clean and simple process.
Undoubtedly, is a very comfortable way of taking the products without going out of the house. “3D Systems ” will begin to commercialize the printer this month in order to let people interfere in the technology and satisfy their needs. (PLS)
