“Yes” and “No” Supporters Face Each Other in Guayaquil

After a 66.58% of the ballots counted, and after the back up of option “No” in questions 4 and 9, this morning supporters of both positions confront each other outside of the Electoral Delegation of Guayas.

Demonstrators throw each other sticks, bottles, glasses, and the closest object they have on their hands, say twitter users trough the network.

Someone cries “Yes” and others answer “No”. “Guayaquil with Nebot”, say supporters defending option “No” outside the Electoral Delegation of Guayas.

While police fired tear gas at demonstrators who began the protest at 10:00 on Thursday.

Among the protesters are supporters of PAIS defending the “Yes”, and the militants of the Teachers’ Front.
