YouTube Teaches About Copyright With HappyTree Friends
Given the numerous copyright infringements by the millions of YouTube users, Google’s video platform has created an informational video titled “YouTube Copyright School.”
The animated MTV series, Happy Tree Friends, were the characters of an entertaining story that explains that copying original content without the permission of the author may bring several legal problems, the video stressed that after three complaints for unlawful conduct on YouTube, users could lose their account and be prosecuted. The video encourages users to upload original content to avoid legal problems.
After watching the video, users must answer a series of optional questions, and they can not upload content to YouTube unless they successfully complete the responses.
