179 flights cancelled in London airport by snow

Heathrow (London), the main European airport in terms of traffic, canceled 179 flights this Friday because of snowfall.
According to Heathrow’s information, cancels are due to blocked airports connecting with the capital. Weather forecasts announced this cold wave will affect every transport until the end of the week.
Cardiff, Bristol, and Southampton airports are still closed and British Airways (BA) flights from Gatwick, south of London (England), to Spain are delayed.
Passengers can consult their possible flight’s modifications from the web page.
The authorities announced an orange alert maintenance until 21:00 GMT this Friday in South and West parts of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
