American actor Ben Stiller announced that this September 22th in New York, he will be doing a contemporary art auction to benefit the children of Haiti.

With this initiative, Stiller hopes to raise about ten million dollars which will go towards education and health programs for this country.

The New York headquarters of Christie’s will be hosting the sale of a total of 26 works of 25 of some of the most prominent contemporary artists such as Jeff Koons, Jasper Johns and Cindy Sherman, who have donated their work for the charity auction. (BG)
