Posted On 25 Jan 2011
Last night hundreds of civilians demonstrated their contempt in the city of Tunis even when a curfew was established at 20:00. The demonstration demanded the resignation of several Government officials that are related to the former president Zine El Abidine.
During the afternoon the demonstrators did not listened to the Chief of Army Staff, general Rashid Amar, in the esplanade of Kasbah center of the power in Tunisia.
Amar stated, “Their requests are legitimate, but I wish that the esplanade remains evicted so that the Government can work.”
