YouTubers Will Be Able To Edit Their Videos Online

Posted On 15 Sep 2011

The most visited video site in the world has implemented a new online video editing tool.

YouTube’s new tool enables users, or YouTubers, to shorten the length of their videos, rotate them, reduce the vibration of the image, adjust the brightness, contrast and saturation, as well as applying color filters and effects, all without having to use external editing software or re-upload the video to the network.

This comes in handy for regular youtubers who want to make their videos look better since they can modify videos that are already online, without affecting their comments and views because they will not lose their ID (user identification), Google informed on its official blog.

Youtubers can also preview the changes before publishing their videos, the only videos that may not be modified online are those that have more than 1000 views or those that have been flagged by inappropriate content.
