Human Rights Court Will be Performed in Guayaquil

Diego García the general prosecutor of the Ecuadorian state, met with the President and the secretary of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), Diego Garcia-Sayan and Pablo Saavedra Alessandri to set the details about the 45 period of sessions that the group would perform in Guayaquil from April 23 to 27.

During those days IACHR will perform several hearings regarding the violations on human rights occurred in several countries that are members of the Inter-American System. The cases of the hosting country will not be discussed.

Garcia went as part of the Ecuadorian delegation that travelled to Washington with Ricardo Patiño to demand an explanation regarding the IACHR decision to request precautionary measures in El Universo case. Garcia asked a more rigorous procedure to deliver them. (AV)
