Guayaquil dawned with heavy rain

This morning, Guayaquil dawned with heavy rain which caused chaos in vehicular traffic and formed puddles that prevented the normal circulation of pedestrians.

On two occasions, the International Airport of Guayaquil, José Joaquín de Olmedo stopped its air operations because of the bad weather. The first time happened from 08:00 to 09:00 and the second time from 09:10 until 09:30.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMHI for its Spanish acronym) announced this afternoon that the sky will be partly cloudy, while for the night is expected to be also cloudy with rain presence.
