City Hall will mix Tourism and Civic Promotion

The City Hall of Guayaquil created a new Municipal Directorate, which will be responsible for civic mobilization and tourism in the city. To do this, via reform, the two departments will be unified, which will be proposed tomorrow at the ordinary session of the District Council for approval.

Journalist Gloria Gallardo will be positioned as the  new head of the Directorate, as announced by Mayor Jaime Nebot in recent days, while Melvin Hoyos, director of Culture and Civic Promotion will remain as head of Culture and will be responsible for the museums that exist and the ones to be built.
