Galapagos protests are reactivated and join the national strike

Two Galapagos legislators and representatives of social organizations of the archipelago resumed protests. They wore white shirts with black letters that read “Justice for Galapagos.”

The group shouted slogans against the government, “Correa listen, Galapagos is in the fight,” and announced their support to the strike of August 13.

“We are not sitting with arms crossed, we will go to the streets because we want a new law, drafted with the consensus of the people,” told to Diario Expreso the Assemblywoman of Avanza, Fanny Uribe.
