Fernando Alvarado does not register exit of the country, says minister María Paula Romo

The ex-secretary of Communication Fernando Alvarado does not register exit of the country by any migratory control in charge of the National Police, affirmed this Monday the minister of the Interior, Maria Paula Romo, in her appearance before the Assembly.
Romo said that no country has confirmed Alvarado’s asylum status nor has it been proven that he left the country on a charter flight from Quito, where the Venezuelan ambassador traveled to Ecuador.
She commented that the action of the Police, after issuing the precautionary measures against Alvarado, was limited to the registration of the prohibition of the accused leaving the country in the immigration controls. And then, on October 20, 2018, the ECU-911 system informs the institution that the former official had removed the device, which triggered the police response.
The official answered the questions of eleven legislators who demanded information on immigration control and intelligence agencies.
Javier Cadena (PSC-PC) affirmed that he lacked precaution of the Police and said that there was even “naivety” because on October 19, 2018, by the immigration post of Rumichaca, at 17:22, the son of the ex-official of names came out Alvarado Echeverría José Francisco, and on October 20 he left Cucutá for Venezuela.
