Interjet presented order for flights in Ecuador

ABC Airlines, which has the Mexican brand Interjet, submitted the request to the Civil Aviation Council of Ecuador to obtain its operating permit in the country.

Your order includes seven frequencies on the Mexico City-Guayaquil / or Quito-Mexico City route and seven frequencies on the Cancun-Guayaquil / or Quito-Cancun route.

In his order he has indicated that in his routes he plans to operate with A320 Neo and A 320 Ceo equipment, Jet type.

This application was entered through his attorney Juan Carlos Pérez.

The airline announced several weeks ago its arrival at Guayaquil airport, with which it had already been making contacts to open this route. In fact, the local terminal has begun to announce this new destination, although tickets are not yet on sale.

With the arrival of Interjet, there are already four new airlines that have confirmed their operations in Guayaquil this year: JetBlue, Aeromexico, and Plus Ultra. The latter will do so in July.

Viva Air also has endorsement from the Civil Aviation Council, but has not notified the start of flights. Eastern Airlines, an American airline, has already obtained an endorsement in the United States to fly from New York to Guayaquil, but it needs to be processed in Ecuador. (I)
