Adobe Launches Photoshop Touch
Posted On 15 Nov 2011
The software company introduced Photoshop Touch this week, an Android tablet version of its flagship Photoshop product. It’s not the full Photoshop, but does include a wide range of editing tools more typically found on desktop programs.Adobe is introducing five other apps for Android tablets this week, with a price tag of $10 each:
- Adobe Collage, which allows sketches and drafts that combine images, text, drawings and strokes.
- Adobe Debut for presentations of projects, with ability to add notes, comments and pencil strokes for correction and revision.
- Adobe Ideas, which equals Adobe Illustrator to draw by vectors and strokes.
- Adobe Kuler to generate themes and color samples.
- Adobe Proto for the development of interactive prototypes and diagrams functions for websites and apps. The function prototypes (interactive) can be exported in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Adobe is planning to bring all of the mentioned apps to Apple’s iOS, but didn’t have any details, other than to expect an announcement in the first quarter of next year.
