Albuja will resume a busy schedule in OAS
The new representative of Ecuador to the Organization of American States (OAS) must deal with the pending issues supported by the Ecuadorian government, such as the restructuring of the American System of Human Rights, the reform of the formation of the OAS and the relocation of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
Albuja will take office on next Wednesday after almost six months of the diplomatic mission ran out of its representative, Maria Isabel Salvador , who left that post after being appointed as President of the Government of the Galapagos Islands.
The first meeting of the OAS in which the ambassador Marco Albuja will officially participate, will be on next Wednesday January 15 at 10:00 in the agency’s headquarters at Washington. The meeting will focus on the death penalty in America, the action plan for optimizing the use of information technology, among other topics.
