Alessandra Ambrosio wore the “Fantasy Bra” on the 2012 VS Fashion Show

After 11 years working for Victoria’s Secret, Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio walked the runway for the first time on her life wearing the ‘Floral Fantasy Bra” valued on 1.9 million euros (2.5 million dollars) during the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

This traditional piece of bejeweled lingerie was the work of the company London Jewelers Great in honor to Ambrosio and is adorned with 5,200 precious stones, including amethysts, sapphires, savoritas, rubies and white, pink and yellow  diamonds. The bra also has two ‘removable’ flowers made of yellow and pink gold of 18K, and diamonds,  and a center ‘hanging’ piece engraved with two diamonds of 12.5 and 20 carats.

Despite being one of the most veteran ‘angels’ of the Victoria’s Secret firm, the Brazilian model still could not wear the traditional “Fantasy Bra” on the runway of the annual VS fashion show, until now. Only one model can walk the runway wearing the bejeweled bra,  becoming one of the main protagonists of the night.
