A multidisciplinary team will support Ecuadorian sprinter Alex Quiñonez, who won the title of seventh fastest man in the world in the Olympic Games of London 2012. Sports minister Jose Francisco Cevallos offered this today, from his office.
Cevallos said that Quiñonez will be supported in order to improve his speed registers and make a better performance in the next Olympic Games of Brazil 2016.
The minister also reemphasized that Quiñonez will be given a house, as promised during the semifinals of the men’s 200-meter race.
Alex Quiñonez, in a television interview, humbly requested not only the support of the Ministry of Sport, but from other private institutions because athletes are mobilized without doctors. MZ
