An Unforgettable Week in Viña del Mar
Tuesday, February 26:
Miguel Bosé spread romanticism on Tuesday night in the 54th international festival, celebrating his 35 years of music career. The Spanish singer thrilled the audience with hits like “Morir de Amor”, “Don Diablo” and “Bandido”.
But the Jonas Brothers were responsible for closing the third day of the International Song Festival of Viña del Mar, last Tuesday.
The brother’s trio made the audience of 15,000 people dance with its hits “Let’s Go”, “Wedding Bells” “Paranoid”, “Hold On”, “Year 3,000” and “SOS.” The Jonas surprised with an interpretation of “We Are Young” of band Fun. Jonas Brothers were awarded Silver Torch, Golden Torch, Silver Seagull and Golden Seagull.
Wednesday, February 27:
The fourth night of the International Song Festival of Viña del Mar, Chile was a purely Chilean and varied evening. The meeting was opened by the puppets of 31 Minutes with a musical show that has already received an Emmy nomination and has nothing to envy the famous Muppets.
The singer Francisca Valenzuela and former member of Los Prisioneros, Jorge Gonzalez got the “protest” touch of the 54th Festival of Viña del Mar.

The highlight came on Thursday night at the 54th International Song Festival of Viña del Mar, where the public received English musician Sir Elton John.
The 65 year old British singer, winner of six Grammys and an Oscar, charmed Chilean audiences with his classics “Daniel”, “Sacrifice”, “Do not let the sun go down on me” and “Candles in the Wing” among other hits. Sir John wan all the awards: Silver Torch, Golden Torch, Silver Seagull and Golden Seagull.
Friday, March 1:
In the sixth and final day of the Festival of Viña del Mar, the Mexican singer Gloria Trevi exuded sensuality and energy during his show after twenty years of absence in the Quinta Vergara.
Trevi received the respective Silver Seagull and Golden Seagull and said goodbye singing version of “Gloria”, by American singer Laura Branigan.
