Andres Iniesta interested in playing for other teams
This morning, Spanish midfielder Andres Iniesta expressed his intentions to retire from the FC Barcelona and doesn’t rule out to “try other cultures and other leagues,” when his contract with Barça ends next season.
“Ending here would be very special, I will love to; it’s my dream. At the moment we are not talking about it (contract renewal), but I don’t think it’s difficult to understand. When the club wants you and you want to be on it, nothing else remains to talk about,” said Iniesta.
Iniesta has made clear that hanging up his boots in Barça soccer team will depend on his level in the upcoming years: “My performance will mark how far I’ll go.”
Thus, the wing forward, who entered the club when he was twelve years old, has a contract with Barcelona until 2015 and has shared with players like Carles Puyol, Xavi Hernandez and Lionel Messi.
