Yesterday, during the extraordinary Assembly of the Partido Renovador Institucional Acción Nacional (PRIAN) held in the National Central of the Party located in Esmeraldas 123 and Piedrahita streets, Annabella Azin was chosen as binomial of Alvaro Noboa for the elections of February 2013.

Before the nomination for vice president, made by the director of PRIAN, Roberto Ponce, Azín replied, “I am a PRIAN soldier … I accept with joy and pride.”

While Noboa and Azin held hands and raised them to the sound of a choir singing from the audience, “We won!” PRIAN leader said “I hope she supports me especially in the social area. We will strengthen the social gains that the economist Rafael Correa has achieved while in office.”

PRIAN’s electoral formula has not defined yet its date of registration in the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym). (MZ)
