Anne Frank comes in theatrical version
Posted On 26 Jun 2013
After almost seventy years of the publication of the book “Anne Frank, the Diary of a Young Girl”, the story will be back to theaters. This time in Guayaquil, with a local cast.
The play tells the story of Annelies Marie Frank, known worldwide as Anne Frank, a young German Jew who recounted the last days of her life while she was hiding with her family in a secret annex of a factory in Amsterdam, during the Nazi occupation in 1942, until she was deported to an extermination camp.
This presentation will be under the baton of Kira Sanchez, producer, and Galo Escudero, Ecuadorian theater director who resided in Berlin (Germany); both will premiere the work at the centro de Artes Theatre, tonight.
