Another fugitive from La Roca gets captured

Interior Minister, Jose Serrano, reported via his Twitter account of the recapture of Marco Leon Diaz, aka Tigrillo, one of 18 inmates who escaped from the maximum security prison La Roca, on last February 12.

Diaz, who is accused of murdering Walter Poveda Salazar, aka Caiman, on last August 15, was arrested on the Rumichaca bridge when he was trying to leave the country to get to Colombia.

So far there are 9 recaptured criminals by the police: Cesar Vernaza Quiñonez, aka el empresario; Rodrigo Sotelo Sampedro, aka la bestia, Roy Orlando Cuenca Chavez, aka Cena, Julio David Mendoza Lopez, aka Loco Julio; Luis Vera Mora, aka Apretadito, Maximiliano Lopez, alias Vieja Maxi; Eder Pacifico Pazmiño Proaño, aka Narizon, and Luis Alberto Ferrin Loor.
