Antonio Bunay was about four hours in the Attorney General office. The former president of Cofiec bank, who in December 2011 granted an irregular loan of $ 800,000 to the Argentine Gaston Duzac. Bunay gave his unsworn version of the file that investigates the alleged irregularities arising during the delivery of the loan.
The former head of the Cofiec Office attended the third call. After giving his version of events, he left without saying anything to the media, although it said that after their testimony he would give details.
According to the attorney general, Galo Chiriboga, Bunay testimony is key in the investigations. The former head of Cofiec revealed that a year ago he received a call from Pedro Delgado, president of the Central Bank. In this communication Delgado informed him about the arrival of Argentine investors to expand business in the agricultural sector.
Chiriboga was present at the reception of diligence. “I think the prosecution version delved into many issues that will be important in our research,” while adding that the prosecution is ready for the preliminary trial hearing in the case of alleged title forgery by Delgado.
