“Apocalyptic” storm covered the sky of Sydney
Posted On 06 Mar 2014
Last Wednesday in the Australian city of Sydney, a thick, dark cloud covered the sky in a few seconds, in what the inhabitants called as an “apocalyptic storm.” The sunny day gave way to an impressive thunderstorm that poured rain for several hours.
The heavy rain and winds up to 50 mph caused traffic problems and delays on trains and public transportation, besides further diversion of some flights.
