Artists around the world will be present at the Biennale of Venice
Eighty countries represented in their respective national pavilions are getting ready for the 55th edition of the Biennale of Venice, which casts the vision, ideas and imagination of hundreds of contemporary artists worldwide.
The exhibition entitled “Il Palazzo Enciclopedico” (Encyclopedic Palace), based on the idea of artist Marino Auriti about an imaginary museum, presents a varied exhibition of works which look for the reflection of the viewers on “what drives an artist to create them.” The exhibition will be open from June 1 to November 24.
This edition will show, for the first time, proposals of Paraguay, Angola, Kosovo and the Vatican. Argentina will present an installation on Eva Peron signed by Nicola Costantino. From Ecuador, the filmmakers Patricio Andrade and Miguel Alvear and will participate with the audiovisual Blak Mama.
