Taliban’s target funeral march

Afghan authorities reported that the suicide attacker killed 25 civilians during a funeral in the region, and more than 60 victims were injured.

According to Sediq Sediqi, the spokesman of Interior Ministry of the country, the target of the attack was Hamisha Gul, governor of the Dur Baba district, in the province of Nangarhar.

The violence has increased in Afghanistan since April, when the Taliban’s began a large offensive against the government and its security forces. The assault was also made against the 130,000 foreign soldiers deployed in the country. AV
