Bucaram and Correa start with left foot
Last Tuesday night at the Sucre National Theatre, in Quito, during the ceremony of accreditation of the main national authorities, reelected national Assembly member, Abdala Bucaram Pulley, when approaching the bench to acquire his documents, shaked hands with the members of the CNE, and then, when standing in front of President Rafael Correa and Vice President Jorge Glas, merely greet them with a nod, and then continued shaking hands with the other members.
The incident was captured on video, filmed by Edison Tanquino, who trough his YouTube account is identified as an RTU TV Station journalist. The video shows how Bucaram, after denying the handshake for the binomial and replacing it with a simple nod, grants the proper greeting to other CNE members, but then as a sign of regret, he goes back and extends his arm back to Glas and Correa, in that order, but it’s already too late and neither of them is interested in answering the greeting.
