Capriles: “We suffer scarcity due to the lack of political will”
Miranda Governor, Henrique Capriles Radonski, lamented the lack of production in the country affecting all Venezuelans, regardless of their ideals and beliefs.
“There is no justification for our people to suffer scarcity for the lack of political will of a group that aims to stay in power. We are here to solve problems of the community and to guide them, however, our people today tell us of the problem of shortage of products and the high cost of these. Then I wonder how would our state and our country would be if the resources we get from oil revenue are used for the benefit of our people, “he said.
Capriles, who made those remarks at a parish meeting in Nueva Cúa, Valles del Tuy, said that although the Government of Miranda is not responsible for developing the economy, it has developed production plans for the benefit of entrepreneurs. “We, as a regional executive, are not the ones who develop the economy because it is a responsibility of the high government, but if we had that responsiility, then Tuy and all our state would be a great economic power,” he said.

Finally, Capriles called on the community to put aside prejudice, division, and to remain united to face the difficulties experienced by Venezuelans.
