Joe Simon, legendary co-creator of Captain America, the Sandman, the Fly and hundreds more passed away today at age 98. According to a message of his son on Facebook.

Simon and Jack Kirby revolutionized the superhero industry. Simon added horror and romance genres to several famous titles.

Thanks to the approach of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby the comic industry took a more human and entertaining aspect. (AV)
