Carapaz enters the Olympus of national sport

The Carchen cyclist Richard Carapaz is now part of the select club of best Ecuadorian athletes. “Locomotora de Carchi” slipped into the Olympus of the great national sportsmen who triumphed worldwide after lifting the Giro d’Italia trophy.
Beginning with the great tennis player Pancho Segura, who handed out a chair to the athletes of that time and urged as the best male tennis player between 1950 and 1952.
