Carla Bruni chooses Universal Music for her new álbum
Carla Bruni, wife of the former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, will launch her forth album “Little French Songs” to the market in April with Universal music.
Universal music has produced various famous French singers such as Jacques Brel or Léo Ferré, but also international artists like Bjork, Bob Marley, Queen, U2 and Amy Winehouse.
This album follows Quelqu’un m’a dit” (2002), “No Promises” (2007) and “Comme si de rien n’était” (2008). It’s a tribute to French singers such as Charles Aznavour. It is also known that she made an Italian version of the well-known song among French people “Douce France” by Charles Trenet.
According to the Universal music website “Little French Songs” was “accepted almost without any reserve from the record label”.
