Carlos Marx Carrasco
Carlos Marx Carrasco, the director of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), pointed out that the entity he runs can request all the information from the banks about its customer. He said that this does not mean they would violate the banking seal, since the information would be in the custody of the revenue organization, which won’t make public, and only be useful to have a good a control.
“We can ask the information of any of the seven million of clients that the bank have, but it will be carried out according to the risks that present each contributor,” assured Carrasco.
Carrasco’s position was known after a meeting with the president of the Economic Regime Commission, Francisco Velasco along with some assemblymen of PAIS, which are members of the board. AV
