Catalogue of Investments 2015-2017 was presented

The Coordinator Ministry of Strategic Sectors submitted the night of March 11 the Catalog of Investments 2015-2017, with the presence of representatives of business associations, chambers of commerce and holders of several portfolios of state.

The document provides the investment opportunities Ecuador offers for the development of new projects in sectors such as mining, oil, water resources, telecommunications and basic industries.

Rafael Poveda Bonilla, Coordinator Minister of Strategic Sectors, said that the government’s commitment since 2007 was to undertake a structural reform, through a strong public investment and coordinated work between the public and private sector. The minister informed that $ 37,000 million will be invested  in the coming years to promote the development of strategic sectors, including basic industries, mining, petroleum, energy and telecommunications, among others.
