The brief official information on the health of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez leads to a series of speculations, including that his current situation is becoming untenable after the last operation, his fourth, which he underwent in Cuba last December 11.
The most recent government report reveals that the president “is increasingly stable,” however, medical reports and the media realize that, in reality, Chavez shows a very complicated picture, including that he might be on life support after being performed a tracheotomy. He also retains fluids in the lungs and has kidney deficiency from overuse of steroids in recent months.
