Christian Bale Fulfills the Wish of a Young Batman Fan

Actor Christian Bale, best known for his role as Batman in the recent trilogy of Christopher Nolan, fulfilled the wish of Jayden Barber, a 5-year-old boy diagnosed with terminal cancer in the bones, whose wish was to meet Batman.

In 2010, Jayden’s parents were informed that he had cancer in his right arm, from his elbow to his shoulder.

After the chemotherapy treatment Jayden’s cancer went into remission. However he developed a new cancer in July of 2012. Doctors diagnosed Jayden with leukemia and he only had six weeks to live, before being bed ridden for six months.

Thus the people of Youngstown city, Ohio, United States joined to fulfill the wishes of Jayden. Thanks to the initiative of a fabceook group, “Lighting the Bat Signal for Jayden”, the youth had the opportunity to meet Christian Bale.

The actor paid the whole family a flight to Los Angeles, where he treated them to lunch at Disney’s Club 33 and shared some good moments with Jayden and his family.

The best news came after, when the results showed that Jayden’s cancer went into remission again. AV
