CIA accused of plotting against President Correa

A report issued by the Mexican magazine “Proceso” says that the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States (CIA) is making a planned action to destabilize the government of Ecuador, led by President Rafael Correa, using for which purpose behind a ridge drug trafficking operation on the border of Chile and Bolivia.

Part of the money from the illegal trading, according to the research carried out by the magazine, would be destined to end with the government of Ecuadorian President. The conspiratorial action may take place through consent given by senior police officers and even the defense ministry of Chile itself.

The “anti-imperialist trajectory” of President Correa, would, according to “Proceso”, is the reason why the CIA is behind this purpose. We must also remember that it is not the first time that the Agency is linked as part of forces that fight for the fall of Correa. (MZ)
