CNE: There are Few Forged Signatures
Posted On 02 Aug 2012
The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym), Domingo Paredes, yesterday revealed that the revision of forged signatures have not released results of “magnitude” as expected.
The verification task began last Tuesday, after complaints from citizens indicating that they were affiliated with political parties and movements without consent.
“If you want my personal opinion, so far we have not found forged signatures in the magnitude that we previously thought,” said Paredes, while watching the process.
However, he did not discard that during the following hours and next week, more news of forged signatures with other political organizations, would exist. MZ
