Cold wave affects Europe
According to statistics, 14 people died last weekend in France, United Kingdom, and Spain in traffic accidents due to snowfalls.
Weather conditions is affecting both air and land transportation. 20% of the 1300 quotidian flights have been canceled in Hearthrow (England). Francfort(Germany) (main European airport) and Munich (Germany), all three had to cancel around 15% of their flights.
Seven people died in France during the weekend because of snow and rain on the roads. The most affected areas are Paris and the region Ile de France.
In Spain three persons lost their life in the last few days as a consequence of flooding caused by rain, wind, and snow.
Affected countries’ authorities announced a progressive return to normal activities by tomorrow.
