Copa Davis doubles

The Colombians tennis players Juan Cabal and Robert Farah defeated the Ecuadorians Julio Campozano and Diego Hidalgo after winning the set with a score of 2-1.

Through a remarkable game the Colombian duo imposed their victory with a score of 4-6, 2-6 and 2-6 in the third game of Group I of the American Zone. The game lasted more than two hours, the Ecuadorians started winning but after the minute 44, Cabal and Farah turned the match into their favour.

Tomorrow Julio Campozano and Santiago Giraldo will play at 10:00 (GMT). The country that loses the series would descend into Group II, while the winner will be in the play-offs of the World Group. (AV)
