Complaints from TC Televisión and Cable Visión reach Comptroller

The general manager of TC Televisión, Martha Moncayo, and the liquidator of Cable Visión, Rubén Solórzano, presented this afternoon to the deputy superintendent Pablo Celi complaints about the misuse of public funds in hiring by previous administrators of the two channels.
In the case of TC, the irregular disposition of goods in payment was indicated.
Among them are a department in the Swissotel (Quito) and two in the Vista Colón building (Guayaquil), as well as an armored Audi car, which were delivered in exchange for legal advice, security services and transmissions of football matches and Saturdays of former president Rafael Correa.

Moncayo excused himself from giving the names of the beneficiaries of the goods and also that of the observed program.
In the case of Cablevisión, Solórzano delivered documents on the signing of a channel contract with the Secretariat of Communication (Secom) for “an audiovisual, graphic and public relations repository” for $ 1.3 million.
However, for this task it would have been subcontracted – according to a press release by the Public Media Management – with Q & T Coesfi S.A., Gemtaj Creativos Cia Ltda. And Marcos Párraga Quintero. Solórzano also did not give details until the Comptroller’s Office concludes the audit. (I)
