Compromiso Ecuador files an amicus curiae against referendum

Compromiso Ecuador and the Quito Assembly yesterday presented an amicus curiae that rejects the opinion of the Constitutional Court on the referendum request made by the collective Rafael With You Always, which authorizes the delivery of forms to start the collection of support signatures.

The opinion was reported to the National Electoral Council (CNE), and according to the vice president of the agency, Nubia Villacis, it is mandatory to deliver the forms so this group collects signatures in a  six months terms.

Milton Castillo, accompanied by other members of Compromiso Ecuador: Fabricio Villamar, Susana Piedra and Shirlley Borja, presented a paper that exposes seven reasons why the question presented by the collective Rafael With You Always should be rejectd
