Compromiso Ecuador requires to the Constitutional Court forms to collect signatures
Compromiso Ecuador yesterday presented an amicus curiae before the Constitutional Court. The group is led by Guillermo Lasso, Cesar Montufar, Fausto Cobo, Francisco Jimenez and representatives of about 100 organizations that comprise it.
This is one of the resources that can be presented to demand the National Electoral Council to deliver the forms to collect signatures in order to give way to a referendum to avoid indefinite reelection.
CREO movement members were received by the General Secretary, Jaime Pozo. Cesar Montufar, President of the Concertación movement, was present at the delivery of the document and indicated that a statement by the court is required. He also states that atention at a general committee is required, because they do not agree with the procedure of the court.
