Contest for Advertising Campaign Monitoring Is Deserted
The National Electoral Council (CNE) declared as deserted the contest of companies that were supposed to control the requirements in the consultation campaign.
It is presumed that the CNE will ask the Citizen Participation Corporation to be in charge of the task until it is determined the company that will take over this work. Citizen Participation Corporation will be asked to officially provide the information they handle to the monitoring centers, to use them while hiring a company for that specific task.
Bidder companies were En la Mira and Markets & Projects; however the CNE vocal, Fausto Camacho, explained that the first company set a reference value above the threshold ($ 350 thousand) while the second did not submit complete documentation. For this reason, the CNE ordered a new call from today through the National Procurement System.
