Coronavirus: The Metrovía expands its circulation until 22:00
In Guayaquil, several sectors, such as construction and public transportation , are relaxed first , before the announcement of a change in the color of the traffic light from red to yellow, which implies the application of new care measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
In an official statement, the table of the Cantonal Emerging Operations Committee (COE) of Guayaquil , dictates the conclusions that the local authorities reached after a meeting. The units of the Metrovia, which are in operation, from this May 12 will be able to circulate until 22:00, that is, the citizens who need, at this stage of confinement, to move in the city, will be able to have this service until that night time.
These units, which are more than 150 units, between buses and feeders, also join the 17 health routes that operate until 23:00. Also this week, as announced on May 7, Andrés Roche, general manager of the Municipal Transit Authority (ATM), will add 10 more bus lines , which will also provide service until night.
This provision of the Cantonal COE, which occurs before the announcement of the measure to change the traffic light from red to yellow, according to the document, explains that it is due to the reactivation of the construction sector in the Main Port, which was also announced in the statement yesterday night. Thus, companies in the construction sector that operated in Guayaquil will be able to work, once they request the COE to open its doors.
Companies that require reactivation should send an email to reactivacionconstruccion@cscg.gob.ec with the request to the Cantonal Situation Room.
The applicant will receive a username, password and model enabling document, by mail. Then, you must download the mobile application SURVEY 123 for ARCGIS, to enter the data and enabling documents that within a period not exceeding 48 hours must be physically sent to the Cantonal COE, in the offices of the Corporation for Citizen Security of Guayaquil , located in the Martha de Roldós citadel.
