Correa seeks closer trade relations with Qatar
Posted On 21 Oct 2014
Qatar has an investment fund of about 800 billion dollars and is looking for a country to invest in Latin America. That’s one of the reasons why President Rafael Correa visits that country.
Francisco Rivadeneira, Minister of Foreign Trade, indicates that Ecuador is an attractive destination, mainly in ports and airports.
According to a study of Proecuador, Qatar would be interested in the palm, chewing gum, coffee essence, lobsters, fresh strawberries, fuses, copper wire, among other commodities.
In his Twitter account, the President noted that the activity of his tour will also focus on academic topics.
