CPCCS affirms that it is not viable for the Judiciary Council to evaluate judges

This morning Luis Hernández, counselor of the Council of Citizen Participation and social control, spoke on Radio Pública FM about the processes for appointing authorities and the fight against corruption carried out by the institution.
Luis Hernández pointed out that the authorities will be designated for the final National Electoral Councilin the first week of October and will advance in the selection processes of the Constitutional Court and Judicial Council authorities. However, he mentioned that “At this moment, the values to occupy public office are needed. Moral courage is what a judge must have to fulfill his duties. “
Likewise, the counselor stated that given the circumstances of the Council of the transitional Judiciary, an evaluation of the judges of the National Court was feasible. “That the judges of the National Court are evaluated by a transitory organism was not the healthiest thing. The CPCCS undertook to appoint a definitive and independent Judicial Council.
