Cristiano Ronaldo Would be Witness on Berlusconi Trial
The Portuguese soccer player of Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo is part of the 214 witnesses that will testify on the Ruby case, which involves the former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
The Milan Courthouse decreed this after accepting the long list of witnesses presented by the lawyers and the defense of Berlusconi. From December 2nd the people in the list will attend the courthouse, among those cited is the famous American actor George Clooney.
The judicial process would try Berlusconi for sponsoring minors’ prostitution. The district attorney office accuses him of engaging in a sexual relationship with the 17-year-old Moroccan Karima El Mahroug, also known as Ruby. Berlusconi is also being charge with abuse of power when on May 27, 2010; he used his position to release Ruby from prison.
Apparently Ruby had also spent a night with the Portuguese player Ronaldo, for which she received 4,000 euro. (AV)
