Cristina Fernandez has Cancer

According to information given by the government, Cristina Fernandez, president of Argentina has Thyroid cancer without branches. The executive will be submitted to surgical intervention on the next January 4.

The president is considered as one of the 20 most powerful women in the world. Now Fernández will have to take a permit of absence for almost three weeks until January 24, moment in which the vicepresident Amado Boudou will be in charge of the presidential chores. (AV)
