Dialogue between the Colombian government and the FARC starts again
Peace negotiations between the Colombian government and the FARC, initiated in October 2012 in Norway, start again today in La Havana (Cuba). The Colombian society is going to contribute to the discussions focused on the land problem.
The first meeting will discuss 11 publications from the forum carried out on December 2012 in Bogota, which was organized by Centro de Pensamiento y Seguimiento al Diálogo de Paz of the National University and the UN.
1.314 representatives of the civil society such as farmers, guilds, entrepreneurs, indigenous people and women met in 21 work tables and 10 socialization tables.
They published 546 propositions which represent the citizen participation in the peace process between the Colombian government and the FARC.
